The Mung Brothers' second release, the four track EP, "Here We Go!" is great driving music. Crank up your car stereo, head out to the interstate, and forget about the rest of the world. Classic Rock, with a touch of Americana will catapult you along your route, as big hooks, witty lyrics, and jangly guitars surround you.

Richard Gnum and Dan Palladino grew up listening to pop, folk, and rock music of the 60's and 70's: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Eagles, Pink Floyd, Tom Waits, Queen, Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Nick Lowe, Marshall Crenshaw, and Elvis Costello. These influences occasionally peek out at you, yet The Mung Brothers' music doesn't really sound like any of them.

You may have heard some Mung Brothers material on the MTV shows, Cribs and My Super Sweet Sixteen. Their debut album, "Honey, grab your coat!" has also received airplay around the world.
